FWSGA Loses Friends

Christina, Mary Ann, 58, went to
be with the Lord on Monday,
December 4, 2006 after a short
but brave battle against
leukemia. She was a mathematics
educator in Broward County since
1984. She was named Teacher of
the Year at Deerfield Beach High
School, BCCTM Mathematics
Teacher of the Year and received
the Presidential Award for
Excellence in Mathematics. Also
an avid golfer she was the
Women’s Club Champion at both
Inverrary and Palm-Aire County
Club. She is survived by her
family of friends Connie and Had
Oshry of Margate, Dr. & Mrs.
Palmer Dyer of Melbourne, FL and
her beloved dog Bailey. There
will be a Celebration of Life at
McDivot’s Restaurant at the
Carolina Golf Club in Margate on
December 11, 2006 at 5:00pm. In
lieu of flowers donations may be
made to Atlantic Technical
Center, Mary Ann Christina
Scholarship Fund.
Bonnie
K. Farnsworth, 66, of
Naples, FL, passed away
peacefully early Thursday
morning at Naples Community
Hospital after suffering from a
stroke. She was a longtime
resident of Naples after
spending many winters here from
River Forest, IL. Bonnie was a
loving wife, mother, grandmother
and a friend to all. She was an
avid golfer and served as a
rules official for the USGA,
FSGA, WWGA and other
organizations. Bonnie was also a
Merit Scholar at Northwestern
University in Evanston, IL. She
will be deeply missed by many.
The family invites Bonnie’s
friends to join them for
visitation Saturday, December
23rd, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at
Fuller Funeral Home, 1625 Pine
Ridge Road. Donations in her
memory may be made in lieu of
flowers to the Women’s Western
