District 3 Results at "Candler
Hills"
The FWSGA District 3 tournament
was held on October 7, 2006 at
Candler Hills Golf Club in
Ocala. The format for the
District 7 tournament was
Best-ball of the two-somes.
Monica O’Reilly of Melrose and
partner Ashley Shinn of
Gainesville shot 69 to win the 1st
Low Gross title in Flight 1. The
1st Low Net in Flight
1 with a 60 was Mary McCann and
Dorothy Mooney of Ocala. The one
day district tournaments are
designed to give opportunities
to FWSGA members to play in
championship caliber events in
their local areas.
