Due to Hurricane Wilma,
the FWSGA/FSGA Mixed
Team Championship has
been canceled for the
scheduled dates of
October 29-30, 2005.
Currently, The Forest
Country Club is without
electricity and the golf
course is unplayable due
to the high winds and
rain. We are working
very hard to see if
there are any options to
reschedule the event.
The two options we are
currently dealing with
are:
Option 1: Reschedule the
event for a later date and
location. We are looking to
find another site and date to
host this event. If we do
reschedule the event we will
then give you the option to play
in the event at the rescheduled
date or give you the option to
receive a full refund.
Option 2: Cancel the event
for 2005. If we are unable
to reschedule the event we will
be giving all competitors a
complete refund.
We are working
very hard to try and find a new
site and location for this
event. Another email will be
sent out on or before Tuesday
November 1st
notifying all contestants which
option we will go forward with
and the details associated with
the option. Please don’t
