Team Florida to a T5th place
finish at the USGA Women's State
Team Championship held at
Berkley Hall in Bluffton, SC
September 27-29. Florida
entered Thursday's final round
in 7th place with hopes for a
top 3 finish. Taffy's
final round of even par 73 and a
great performance from Naples
Mary Jane Hiestand moved Florida
up two spots for a T5th place
finish. Representing
Florida in the bi-annual team
matches were Taffy Brower,
Boynton Beach, Mary Jane
Hiestand, Naples, and Nancy
Smith, North Port.
