2004 FWSGA Hires 2004 Boatwright Intern - 03/5/04

The Florida Women's State Golf Association just added intern Megan Cushman to their current staff. She is a senior at the University of South Florida majoring in Interpersonal and Organizational Communications, and is a member of the Women's Golf Team. She is a Michigan native who now resides in Tampa and is expected to graduate in May.

Megan will be assisting with all areas of golf administration including tournament administration, memberships, and communication. She will work under Executive Director Kelly Tarala in the Tampa based office. Megan's intern position was made possible under the USGA P.J. Boatwright internship program. This program is designed to give experience to individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in golf administration, while assisting state and regional golf associations, as well as other non-profit organizations dedicated to the promotion of amateur golf, on a short-term, entry level basis.
