Lang & Ritter Win FWSGA Summer Mixed Team Championship

Diane Lang and Don Ritter shot a combined total of 11-under par to win the FWSGA Summer Mixed Team Championship.  Doral Golf Resort & Spa-White Course hosted the Championship June 5-6th.

After the first day of four-ball stroke play, Lang, of Weston and Ritter of Davie were tied for the lead with Valrico's Brent and Debbie Mook Sang, both shooting a score of 67.  In the final round Lang & Ritter pulled away from the rest of the field shooting a final round of  66 and an overall score of 133 to win by three.  Brent & Debbie Mook Sang shot a 67-69-136 to finish three shots back.  In the second flight, Samuel Martinez & Michelle Cernogorsky, of Miami, won the flight after shooting a 70-69-136.  The third flight featured MaryAnn Andrews & Dennis Modrak, of Sarasota, winning after they shot a 75-75-150.  In the fourth flight Alena & Brian McGlone, of Tampa, shot a 77-78-155 to place first in their flight and Dean and Bob LaFerriere , of Tarpon Springs, shot a 81-78-159 to win the fifth flight.  The teams were flighted based on the combined team handicap index.
