Jacqui Concolino Wins Junior Girls' Championship

Jacqui Concolino, of Orlando, shot a 3-under par 143 to win the 45th Florida Women's State Golf Association Junior Girls' Championship at Lake Buena Vista Golf Club in Orlando.

 

After finishing 1st in the 12-14 year old division in 2002 and a 4th place overall finish  in 2003, Concolino captures the prestigious Championship by shooting a four under par 69 in the final round to win by two.  2003 Champion So-Hyun Park finished second with a 36 hole total of 71-74-145 along with Jessica Yadlockzy, Lakeland 74-71- 145.

 

In the 12-14 division, Michelle Shin, of Cape Coral carded a 74-75-149 to win the division by three shots.  This is Michelle's first victory in the event after a 2nd place finish in the 10-11 age group in 2002 and a runner-up finish in the 12-14 age group in last years event.  Paige Lausier of Ocala and Erica Popson of Davenport shared second place at 152.

 

Kate Murphy, of Gainesville beat out Cabriel Duren, of Royal Palm Beach, in a playoff after making par on the first playoff hole.  Justine Know, of Denedin captured the 10-11 division after carding a 37-39-76 to win by eight.  The 6-9 division was won by Alessandra Kutz, of Lake Mary.  Alessandra shot 48-42 to capture the title.
