FWSGA 75th Amateur Match Play Field Set - 04/21/04

The Florida Women’s State Golf Association announced today the field for the 75th Amateur Match Play Championship. The Anniversary event will fittingly be played at The Black Diamond Ranch-Quarry Course May 2-7th. The Association’s oldest and most prestigious event will host the best 128 women in the state. Beginning on May 3rd the players will play the Stroke Play Championship Flight Qualifier. 32 players will make the flight in hopes of capturing the championship title. Match Play will begin on May 4th and will eventually crown the champion on May 7th.

Former Champions include former USGA Curtis Cup players Leslie Shannon, Brenda Kuehn, Cristie Kerr, Marla Jemsek-Weeks as well as two time defending champion Taffy Brower.

Daily results will be available starting May 3rd.
